Living in Sweden the multidisciplinary artist Daniel Hedin invites us into a visual laboratory of identity with his series Faces. Here, the human face - the central interface of self-image and emotional communication - is torn apart and reassembled, offering a fractured wholeness that challenges our understanding of presence and perception. The works are built through collage, where fragments of different faces are layered, ripped. Through this technique, Hedin moves beyond aesthetic experimentation to explore the fragility and fluidity of identity and emotional multiplicity.
