On Friday, December 5, every die-hard rocker in the capital belongs at Dürer Kert, as Machine Mouse - active again since last year - and the Mátyás Attila Band take turns on stage.
Formed in 1991, the songs of Machine Mouse (András Ficzkó, Norbert Rubé, Balázs Gerő, Péter Ambrus) have indelibly written themselves into the golden book of domestic rock history, just think of the lines from "Játékos", "Az ajtó nyitva áll", "Ébredés", or "Álomgyár". And of course, there is also "Fenn a csúcson", which topped the MAHASZ Radio Top 40 chart for twenty-one weeks in 2007. At their comeback concert in 2025, the guys tore up the Dürer stage, and now they are returning with an even more powerful sound and sweeping energy.
Singer-guitarist Attila Mátyás has been a defining figure in the domestic underground and rock music scene since the mid-1980s. He has written songs as a member of such significant genre-defining bands as F.O. System, Sex Action, Action, and Agnus Dei. Since 2007, he has also been performing regularly in domestic clubs with his own trio playing modern guitar music (Sándor Bense - bass guitar, Balázs Gerő - drums), the Mátyás Attila Band.
