Pete & Bas, the drill grandfathers comes to Dürer Kert!

Pete & Bas, the drill grandfathers comes to Dürer Kert.

One of the most exciting acts to emerge from the UK's hip hop and grime scene, Pete & Bas will perform at Dürer Kert on November 25. In just a few years, the London duo have gone from viral internet sensation to international live favorites, carving out a unique place in the genre with their distinctive style and unmistakable personalities.

Formed in 2017, Pete & Bas are two rappers in their seventies who burst onto the scene with their debut single, Shut Ya Mouth. The video quickly went viral, establishing the duo's cult following almost overnight. Since then, they have built their reputation with tracks such as The Old Estate and Dents in a Peugeot, while performing to sold-out crowds at clubs and festivals across Europe. Today, they are followed by more than one million fans across their social media platforms.

The South East London duo are also surrounded by legends. According to their own backstory, they have long-standing ties to the infamous Richardson and Kray crime families, a mysterious narrative that has become just as much a part of the Pete & Bas mythology as their cinematic music videos and charismatic performances. Their work has earned praise from some of the biggest names in British hip hop and grime, including Jaykae, Mist, D Double E, Dizzee Rascal, Giggs, Headie One and Dave. Throughout their career, they have also collaborated with artists such as M24, T-Pain and members of Northern Boys, who were themselves inspired by Pete & Bas to start making music.

Pete & Bas will perform at Dürer Kert in Budapest on November 25. Tickets go on sale on July 16 at 10:00 a.m. via www.livenation.hu and www.funcode.hu.

Three voices. One standard. A language that grates on the ear with its brutal honesty.

Six years of silence and then “ABIBOK” drops. An idler who refuses to be ruled by time. Dark beats, viscous rhymes and that unmistakable chemistry between the members - this is UNNV. There are no random lines here, every one cuts straight through. Three voices. One standard. A language that grates on the ear with its brutal honesty.

All the best tracks are coming this autumn.

We’ve been playing on the Budapest (and all sorts of other city) night-time scene for quite a few years now, and we’re getting a bit fed up with having to put our own setlist together.

Go on, put our setlist together at last! ✍️

We’ve been playing on the Budapest (and all sorts of other city) night-time scene for quite a few years now, and we’re getting a bit fed up with having to put our own setlist together. The thing is, there are loads of songs we haven’t played in ages (or never played with the band at all), and now we’re giving you the chance to decide which of these we should perform on stage!

So that’s what this evening is all about. And here’s how it works:
Buy your ticket and you’ll receive an email with a Google Form containing a list of 20 songs. We’ll play the top 10 most popular choices at Dürer on 20 November. (You can also add extra requests - if we get lots of requests for a particular song, we’ll play that one too!)

PLEASE HELP US DECIDE WHAT TO PLAY!🥹
