Almost exactly four years later, everyone’s favorite southern rockers from Kentucky, Black Stone Cherry, return to Budapest.

Their career rises triumphantly from the challenges of recent years with the monumental album Screamin’ At The Sky (Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group), which they will finally present live on a Hungarian stage at Dürer Kert.

The four-piece rock band’s eighth studio album bursts in with surprisingly emotional pop-rock choruses, heartfelt lyrics, and of course, riffs that make you want to headbang. The 12-track release is also BSC’s biggest-sounding and most expansive album to date. Produced by the band themselves, the LP was recorded in a classic Kentucky theater and sounds as monumental as if “the hammer of the gods” were swinging above our heads. “The main theme of the record is adaptation and moving forward. In recent years, a lot of what I knew from my childhood has disappeared. I lost my father, and now I’m the oldest male in the family,” says vocalist-guitarist Chris Robertson. He adds: “There is a lot of darkness on this album — I completely opened up — but there’s always the promise of light at the end of the tunnel.” Guitarist-vocalist Ben Wells adds: “There’s something beautiful about letting the pain out — you come out of it a better person.”

Over the past twenty years, Black Stone Cherry have set a new standard in southern rock. Their albums regularly debut at the top of the rock charts. The album has reached 50 million streams worldwide, and the track Again alone has surpassed 20 million.

Throughout the years, the band has filled numerous 12,000-capacity arenas as headliners or co-headliners and has taken the stage with major acts such as Alter Bridge, Theory of a Deadman, Def Leppard, Gov’t Mule, Nickelback, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Motörhead, Halestorm, Stone Temple Pilots, The Darkness, and ZZ Top. In 2018, they played in front of 100,000 people at the Download Festival, directly before Guns N’ Roses. The American band Of Mice & Men released their ninth studio album last year, a record that became both monumental and intimate at the same time. Naturally, the new album is followed by a tour, and on July 29 they will perform at Dürer Kert, joined by Vended, consisting musicians, who are children of Slipknot members.

“Life is hard. No matter who you are, you fight smaller and bigger battles every single day. We often feel that the uniqueness of our situation prevents us from connecting with others. How could anyone possibly know what it’s like to go through what I’m going through? And yet everyone - truly everyone - knows what it feels like to long for a miracle when everything seems hopeless. This is such a fundamental human experience that it connects us all. That’s exactly what Another Miracle is about.”

These are the thoughts Of Mice & Men shared in connection with their latest album released last year, during the creation of which they took full control into their own hands. Vocalist Aaron Pauley mixed the record, while Phil Manansala, Alan Ashby, and Tino Arteaga worked together on the material, resulting in the quartet’s most intimate work to date. Few hard rock albums manage to be intimate while delivering powerful rhythms and a monumental soundscape, but Another Miracle ticks all those boxes, becoming a truly memorable release. The band approaches depression, anxiety, loneliness, and existential dread with sober honesty, breaking through the darkness and emphasizing the importance of creativity as a vital component of mental health.

Since forming in 2009, Of Mice & Men have collected several awards, including Best International Newcomer at the 2013 Kerrang! Awards, and have toured with acts such as Bullet For My Valentine, Nothing More, Five Finger Death Punch, and Slipknot.
Speaking of Slipknot: at the Budapest concert, Of Mice & Men will be joined by Vended, formed in 2018. With both their vocalist and drummer being the children of Slipknot members, the band’s rhythm section is built on speed, power, and precision, complemented by wild, aggressive guitars and lyrics reflecting on the realities of life. After leaving an unforgettable mark on the Hungarian audience at Slipknot’s arena show, King 810 are coming back to shake Budapest once again. On July 5, the band will play their first-ever headline show in Hungary at Dürer Kert.

Formed in 2007 in the crime- and poverty-stricken American city of Flint, King 810 proudly stands apart from the modern metal mainstream. Their sound fuses crushing nu metal riffs with alternative rock, experimental hip-hop, electronics, and dark jazz elements.
The band broke into the public eye in 2012 with the Midwest Monsters EP, which earned them a deal with Roadrunner Records. Later that year, they released their critically acclaimed full-length debut, Memoirs Of A Murderer.
In 2015, they ventured into new territory with the Midwest Monsters 2 mixtape. Created in collaboration with DJ Drama, the release featured major figures from the hip-hop world — including Freddie Gibbs — offering a completely new take on the fusion of rap and metal. The following year, King 810 released the bold La Petite Mort Or A Conversation With God. Frontman David Gunn’s extraordinary, raw poetry and prose took acoustic form on the Queen EP. Soon after, the band parted ways with major labels and, choosing independence, released the esoteric Suicide King album in 2018.

In recent years, Flint’s finest have appeared worldwide with increasingly artistic and theatrical performances following the apocalyptic 2020 release AK Concerto No.47, 11th Movement In G Major. Since then, they have added two more albums to their catalog, bringing their total to six studio records. In 2025, they released Rustbelt Numetal, followed later that year by nine additional tracks under the title K7 Rustbelt Numetal 2.

Their albums have earned international recognition, while their live shows continue to attract growing attention and an expanding fan base. As an endlessly creative band, King 810 continues to venture where others dare not go — their weapon of uniqueness is nothing less than brutally honest truth.

UK’s DON BROCO have always been masters at juggling genres, and their upcoming new record is no exception. According to the band, Nightmare Tripping leans more into screaming vocals, but it also features a collaboration with Nickelback. Fans in Budapest can experience DON BROCO’s explosive energy live on June 16 at Dürer Kert.

DON BROCO are a band that constantly defy categorization. Since forming in 2008, the English act - vocalist Rob Damiani, guitarist Simon Delaney, bassist Tom Doyle and drummer/vocalist Matt Donnelly - have been creating innovative music that effortlessly merges elements of metal, post-hardcore, and electronica, into a unique amalgam of music all their own. “I love being surprised and I love music taking turns that you wouldn’t expect,” Damiani explains. “When you’re writing a song you have a million options and it’s always the paths that lead somewhere unexpected that get me the most excited.” While this flair for experimentation has always been a hallmark of DON BROCO’s sound, the band’s Fearless Records debut Nightmare Tripping sees the quartet creating the heaviest and most nuanced album of their career. It also illustrates why the band have sold out venues like Wembley Arena and Alexandra Palace in the UK; performed to frenzied crowds at Download and Reading & Leeds Festival; headlined Slam Dunk Festival; and toured alongside Pierce The Veil, Bring Me The Horizon and 30 Seconds To Mars.
For the recording of Nightmare Tripping, arriving March 27, the band once again teamed up with longtime collaborator and producer Dan Lacaster, who also worked on DON BROCO’s debut album.

Although the band’s previous album, 2021’s Amazing Things, amassed 57 million streams, replicating that success was not the goal this time. Accordingly, one of the biggest surprises on Nightmare Tripping is how much more Damiani incorporates screaming into the songs. „It’s something I’ve always done live, but I found myself embracing that style on this album in a way I haven’t done in the past,” he explains. “Embracing those harsher vocals has been exciting for us creatively.” 

The album also features several notable collaborations: “True Believers” includes Sam Carter of Architects, while the title track features Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. As a result, “Nightmare Tripping” combines radio-ready choruses with earth-shaking breakdowns that are guaranteed to ignite mosh pits at shows around the world.

Ultimately with Nightmare Tripping, DON BROCO have successfully redefined their sound while staying true to their past, something that Damiani credits to the deep connection its members have forged since starting the band as teenagers. “As a band all four of us have very strong feelings when it comes to our songwriting, which is why it can take so long to write a record compared to other bands,” he explains. “As long as we keep our communication open and allow everyone’s ideas to be heard, things work out for the best.” That ability to listen to each other and not be closed off to unorthodox ideas lies at the core of what makes Nightmare Tripping such a powerful and groundbreaking release. DON BROCO isn’t one person, it’s the cumulative vision of all of the members of the band - and it’s a message that the world very much needs to hear right now.

I Killed the Prom Queen turns 25, and Bridge To Solace celebrates its 20th-anniversary milestone album.

A true metalcore sensation is coming to Dürer Kert: one of the most influential bands in Australian metalcore, I Killed the Prom Queen, is arriving with its 25th-anniversary tour and original lineup.

The band has always been surrounded by legends and lineup changes: member replacements, breakups, then reunions—and the passing through of musicians who later ended up in world-famous bands. Now, however, everything is returning to its roots: the original lineup will reunite for the anniversary concert. The special lineup will feature Jona Weinhofen, a key figure in Bring Me the Horizon’s early days, as well as JJ Peters, the singer of Deez Nuts, who will be behind the drums this time.
The concert is also a tribute to the late bassist, Sean Kennedy—his place on bass for this evening will be taken by the band’s later singer, Jamie Hope.

Every stop on the Australian anniversary tour was sold out, and the band is interrupting its summer festival tour for the Budapest stop. This evening is not just a concert, but a return to an era for all those who grew up on the wave of metalcore.

Bridge To Solace, once Hungary’s most internationally touring metalcore band, which performed at Dürer Kert in 2023 and at Turbina in 2024, is returning for another concert. 

Singer Zoltán Jakab commented on the opportunity: “We have several connections to I Killed The Prom Queen: for one thing, our mutual old friend is their tour manager, who also handled Bridge To Solace’s tours in the 2000s, and as a Budapest promoter, I organized not only IKTPQ’s concerts but also (BMTH, Deez Nuts). When they approached us with this opportunity, we didn’t think twice, and just as before, BTS won’t be a fully active band, but we’re happy to take the stage for an occasion like this. A metal celebration is coming to Budapest: Periphery and Within Destruction concert in Budapest.

One of the most defining bands of progressive metal, Periphery, returns to Budapest to take the stage at Dürer Kert on August 3. The evening’s special guest will be Slovenia’s Within Destruction, bringing together two distinctly different yet boundary-pushing representatives of modern metal for one night.
Both bands are already familiar to Hungarian audiences, and following their previous performances in Hungary, they are returning with an even stronger, up-to-date production. Over the past nearly two decades, Periphery has risen to the forefront of the genre, thanks to their technical precision, complex song structures, and constant evolution. Since their 2010 debut album, they have steadily gained international recognition, with extensive touring, three appearances in the Billboard Top 25, and a total of nine albums released so far.

The GRAMMY®-nominated quintet - Misha Mansoor (guitar), Jake Bowen (guitar), Matt Halpern (drums), Spencer Sotelo (vocals), and Mark Holcomb (guitar) - is now presenting a new direction. This tour marks a particularly important milestone in their career, as their upcoming album, A Pale White Dot, is set to be released on May 15, much to the delight of fans. According to the band, the record will be one of their most cohesive and honest works to date, exploring themes of loneliness and human relationships, while musically elevating their signature complex sound to a new level. This atmosphere is expected to define their latest material as well, making the Budapest concert not only a return, but also the introduction of a new era to the Hungarian audience.
Opening the night, Within Destruction has evolved from deathcore roots into a unique sound infused with electronic and anime influences, which both divides and excites their fans. Their recent releases prove that they are not afraid to take risks, consistently showcasing new facets of modern metal.

The August 3 concert at Dürer Kert will therefore be more than just a meeting of two international bands—it will offer an exciting cross-section of the present and future of the genre. With Periphery’s fresh material and impressive live performance, combined with Within Destruction’s energetic and unconventional show, the Budapest audience can expect a truly memorable evening.

BAEST brings its “Ozzy death metal” sound to Dürer Kert

The Danish band BAEST is one of Europe’s most promising metal acts, and with their album Colossal, released last year, they made a huge leap toward international recognition. Their explosive, often genre-bending music is described simply as “Ozzy death metal” and we’ll soon be able to hear exactly what that means live on September 24 at Dürer Kert.

The Danish five-piece was formed in Aarhus in 2015, and has evolved from an emerging death metal act into a boundary-pushing band that bridges multiple genres. Their discography includes Danse Macabre (2018), Venenum (2019), Necro Sapiens (2021), and last year’s Colossal (2025), which brought them their breakthrough. The album, produced by Tue Madsen (The Haunted), earned international acclaim for its blend of classic heavy metal, rock-driven energy, and progressive elements. Metal Hammer Germany even named Colossal “Album of the Month,” calling it a “colossal achievement.”

BAEST’s reputation is largely built on their overwhelming live performances. They haven’t been sitting still: the band has played more than 350 shows and shared the stage with acts such as Arch Enemy, Fit For An Autopsy, Krisiun, Abbath, and Entombed A.D., among many others. They have also performed at festivals including Wacken Open Air, Bloodstock, Kaltenbach, and Copenhell.

Their growing international reputation is further proven by the fact that their songs have been streamed millions of times, and they have received several professional accolades, including five GAFFA Awards (one of Scandinavia’s most prestigious music awards). With Colossal, BAEST has stepped beyond genre boundaries, creating what they call “Ozzy death metal”: a catchy, riff-driven yet often boundary-pushing sound.

In recent years, BAEST has become one of Scandinavia’s most innovative and promising metal bands, and now it’s time for audiences “down south” to pay closer attention.
