As has been tradition for more than a decade, a few days after the Winter Solstice we gather to celebrate Light and Life. The venue is once again the Dürer Kert in Budapest, with 3 stages featuring our community's favorite artists.
Kundalini, the "Balkan Outsiders", was one of the breakout surprises of this year's festival, playing almost exclusively unreleased tracks in his set. The artist, who combines elements of goa, psytrance and psyprog, is part of our co-publisher BMSS records and will be performing in Budapest for the first time.
Tristate comes from Austria with an eagerly awaited new album after a long break, which will be released this autumn on DigitalOm. The world-renowned progressive act is a regular guest at our WinterSUN in La Palma community event in the Canary Islands.
Croatian-born Rix is one of the bosses and daredevils of TesseracTstudio records, and although the label is known for its progressive style, Rix's sets are always bursting with energy.
Joining us from Serbia is Mir and Amaryllis, who will be playing music and decorating with their team, the Global Sect artist collective.
PsyLev is one of the musicians and the main organizer of the former Transylvaliens festival, his sets are dominated by psytrance, fullon, psyprog and progressive styles.
Micasphere is also a member of our German partner BMSS label, who found her love and the father of her children in our country years ago. This time, Mica is not going for her usual goatrance style, but plays smoother tracks from vinyl.
ItaloSafari from Italy is preparing hypnotic deep beats, and UV Project is coming from Israel with psychedelic glitchy dance tunes.
The other Hungarian artists are all special and dear to our hearts, and there will be SUN Music Studio talents and album premieres too.
