As the well-established DJ duo Minek and Minich, they have been spinning records together in clubs across the capital and the regions for over a decade. Both are programme producers at Tilos Radio, with a long history in music and a substantial career as DJs. Their performances are aptly named ‘Wave Disco Club’; their joint sets blend the new wave, synth-pop and Italo sounds of the 1980s, and even, at times, EBM and electro soundscapes with today’s wildly eclectic, light-hearted and sophisticatedly witty electronic dance music - which, in many respects, builds upon the legacy of its predecessors. The music of recent years - which would have been a smash hit even forty years ago - spins one after the other under their hands, whilst archival gems are also played, which still sound fresh today.
