The Aggrolites bring the melodies of reggae to Hungary.

One of the most significant representatives of dirty reggae, the American The Aggrolites, is coming to Hungary with their new album on June 24 at Dürer Kert.

Formed in 2002 by singer Jesse Wagner and organist Roger Rivas, The Aggrolites represent the dirty reggae style, which - according to the founders - is inspired by a wide range of influences. Their sound is half Kingston, half Motown, which quickly caught the attention of fans and led them into intensive touring.
After a particularly exhausting tour following their 2011 album Rugged Road, the band went into a longer “hibernation,” and the scene suddenly had to do without one of the leading representatives of dirty reggae.

In 2015, they resumed creating music together, and it went so well that in 2018 they wrote and recorded an album in which they rediscovered their signature sound and created songs just as energetic as their old favorites.

The album REGGAE NOW!, released in 2019, proved not to be a one-time nostalgia act, as fans have since had multiple opportunities to attend The Aggrolites concerts. On June 5, they are set to make a big impact with their new release.
From the upcoming record, titled Super Atomic, the track Till The Wheels Fall Off has already been released. It is exactly as “dirty” and as reggae as fans expect from the band. With these promising signs, we can look forward both to the album and to the concert on June 24, where, alongside the newest songs, their most well-known hits will surely be played.

According to the founders, they passionately love reggae and their band, and they will never stop. And we can only hope for many more nights like the June concert at Dürer Kert.
Tickets are already available on livenation.hu and funcode.hu.
