Sztereó - Musicians Up Close

What happens when musicians set aside the promotional circuit, the obligatory questions, and their stage personas for one evening? That’s exactly what Sztereó is all about. A laid-back, honest series of conversations where we sit down with musicians to chat about things they don’t usually talk about. Inspirations, blunders, defining memories, strange twists, creative crises, or simply what kind of person is behind the songs. The conversation is mixed with a little improvisational game.

Following ISON and Nyári Margó (Margó Literary Festival), starting in September, B32 will host the evenings. The atmosphere always feels as if the audience is sitting on stage, or as if the performer is the audience itself. Win-win.

Guest: Kiki Diószegi (DFW)

Kiki Diószegi is the singer of Down For Whatever. She has been performing with DFW for over a decade, playing nu-metalcore, while also regularly performing Red Hot Chili Peppers songs on stage as the frontwoman of Blue Cold Jalapeños. She is also active as a sound engineer, producer, and entrepreneur. In her songs, she often touches on themes such as anxiety, self-image, loss, or nostalgia, but community and the refuge that music can provide for people are just as important to her.

Past guests (non-exhaustive list): Co Lee, Sena, Márton Agócs, Lenkke_, Miklós H. Vecsei, Zoltán Beck, Saiid, Szilárd Balanyi.

At Sztereó, the focus isn’t on the hits, but on the people who write them. 🎙️✨

Host: Dominika Szabó, Operations Manager of B32 Gallery and Kulturtér
