A brand-new concert series is launching, organized jointly by PRHC Booking and Management and PRHC BBQ ’69, with the aim of celebrating and sustaining musical subcultures.
We believe it’s important to bring back to the forefront those underground genres that have recently begun to fade from the Hungarian scene and help audiences rediscover them.
The first edition will shine a spotlight on traditional Oi!, featuring as headliner the legendary Welsh Oi! band The Oppressed — pioneers of the SHARP movement, formed in Cardiff in 1981, and returning to Hungary for the first time in over 14 years.
Supporting acts include Budapest’s rebellious punk band Dogs On Leads, and Fegyelmező Részleg from Székesfehérvár — active for over 23 years and a long-standing force in the Hungarian street rock/punk scene.
