5 Years of ÚJBUDA x DÜRER 🎂 presents:
Lino-printing workshop with the Pikszis Analog Club / B32

Celebrate Dürer Kert’s birthday with us and learn the art of linocut printing!

Create your own unique print at the B32 workshop, where the Pikszis Analog Circle will introduce you to the secrets of linocut printing.

The workshop will take place on June 27 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on the upper floor of the Dürer Kert building, in the armchair bar, where you can join us at any time during the specified hours!

What can you expect?
A casual creative session where we provide all the tools you need. After a brief technical introduction, you can get started right away—create an ex-libris, a logo, a keepsake, a personal symbol, or a portrait of your little one… all of which can be printed in an infinite number of copies.

You can even take your finished artwork home with you!
You’re welcome to come alone, but we’d love to see you with your whole family too!

Technique:
Linoleum printing is a relief printing technique where we shape the areas of our graphic by carving indentations into the soft linoleum material. Where the carving occurs, the ink does not reach the surface of the linoleum, so we must design the graphic to be printed accordingly. The finished plate is rolled with printing ink or pressed into an ink pad, and with a quick motion, the print can be transferred to paper. During the workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to try out the technique on 5x5 cm plates, and we’ll provide technical tips and visual aids to help you along the way.
