Local and regional breweries from the neighboring countries plus the selection of the local distributors and the specialties of domestic beer shops again in September at Dürer Kert, Budapest.

KRAFT has always been at the bottom of our hearts. A beer festival featuring regional names where Hungarian kraft breweries are in the spotlight. It’s not an unlimited all-you-can-drink festival (perhaps we’re better known for that), but a token-based, pay-per-drink, casual event for not only the beer geeks but every beer fan (even the ones who just started their journey with special beers). Needless to say, we'll have concerts in the background, we also invited food trucks and selectors-djs, but basically, we wanted an all-round, close-knit, outdoor festival with all the good vibes.

The Budapest Beer Week team evokes the unparalleled, liberating atmosphere of international beer festivals with this event, as brewers will personally tap their beers, so you can have a nice talk between barrel-aged imperial stouts and fruity berliner weisses. Of course, there will also be classic lagers and ales for lovers of more traditional flavors, to make sure everyone finds their happiness at the end of the day.

The entry to the festival is FREE, but if you would like to have some beers, you will have to purchase a KRAFT branded festival-glass, and some tokens. The official currency of the festival is the token. All the BPBW and KRAFT glassware from the previous years are valid, just like the KRAFT tokens you have left from the previous editions.

Your favorite pop-punk songs, but as rave - STVW at Dürer Kert.

STVW took the biggest emo and pop-punk anthems of the 2000s, fused them with dance music, and created punk rave. The formula worked so well that the German producer has since collaborated with artists such as Electric Callboy and Timmy Trumpet, while performers like Simple Plan and MGK have given their blessing to his punk rave reworks. These high-energy reinterpretations will send you straight into a time machine, making you party like you did at festivals in your early twenties. Fasten your seatbelts – takeoff is on November 12 at Dürer Kert.

German songwriter, producer and DJ STVW is one of the most promising rising artists of the new generation of dance music. He is known for his energetic yet melodic and emotional sound that blends dance music with pop-punk, emo and rock elements – a style he dubbed punk rave.

Thanks to successful collaborations with top-tier artists such as Electric Callboy, Breathe Carolina, Timmy Trumpet, W&W and the pop trio Cheat Codes, he has already amassed millions of streams across all streaming platforms.

STVW has also gained recognition within the rock scene with his punk rave sound. Bands and artists such as Simple Plan, blink-182, Machine Gun Kelly, Good Charlotte and Boys Like Girls have not only supported his vision but also approved electrifying punk rave versions of their iconic songs.

His PUNK RAVE live show – where STVW performs on guitar alongside a drummer – combines the atmosphere of a punk-rock concert with the energy of a rave. In 2025 he launched the concept’s first tour, which immediately sold out iconic venues across the UK, Australia, Canada and Germany. This year the tour expands with additional stops, and STVW will bring his energetic PUNK RAVE show to Budapest on November 12 at Dürer Kert.

Zoltán Beck and Krisztián Grecsó’s show, originating from the Katona József Theater, now comes to us, bringing with it the special “reversed logic” with which their album was also created: the songs were first born before the audience and were only recorded after they had “bathed in the gaze of the spectators.”

BPBW Budapest Beer Week 2027 is from the 17th of May until the 23rd. From Monday to Thursday, the city is getting filled with beer-related and professional events (tap takeovers, meet the brewer events, expo day, opening party), with the main, unlimited TASTING SESSIONS (with after parties) on the 21st and 22nd of May at Dürer Kert and the ENCORE day on the 23rd of May on the very same spot!

Business as usual: the brewers are pouring their beers themselves between 2pm and 8pm each day, during and after the tasting sessions we are offering once again free live concerts, we'll be presenting you expanding street food options and of course the venue is family- and dog friendly.

We plan to host around 45 breweries once again from all over the world in 2027, with 4 beers on tap every day for unlimited tasting between 14h and 20h, which means that during the two tasting session days you will have the opportunity to taste cca 360 different beers! On Sunday, during the encore day, entry is free and the bands are starting earlier that day, while we'll be offering a smaller selection without the presence of most of the brewers, but it's still one helluva party.

Kata Dóra Kiss, János Fejes, Antal Gergely Dér, and Márk Dávid Takáts discuss issues of authenticity in metal subcultures. Why has the question of authenticity become so important in various metal scenes, and whose interests and perspectives have shaped its contours? Is there such a thing as “real” metal, and if so, what should it be like? The discussion explores the issues of authenticity found in metal subcultures from the perspectives of cultural theory and sociology.

**RULES FOR VENDORS**
-At Gardrób Nyáron, private individuals may sell used fashion items.
-Only clothing, shoes, bags, jewelry, and fashion accessories may be sold.
-Two people may sell at one location; both must be registered.
-It is prohibited to move the table or the rack.
-Clothing for sale may only be placed on the table, under the table, or on the rack.
-By paying the fee, the applicant agrees to abide by the event’s rules.
-The organizers reserve the right to suspend the participation of vendors who fail to comply with the rules.
-Only individuals who are at least 18 years of age may reserve a table at the fair.
-The fair organizers assume no liability for any theft (please collect payment in advance for clothing taken for try-ons and be sure to provide the buyer with your table number so they can find their way back).
-The organizers reserve the right to change the reserved location.
-No receipt is required for sold clothing items.

The traditional JÓLVANEZÍGY Season Finale has grown into a full-evening event this time, featuring not only the JÓLVANEZÍGY hosts on stage, but also members of Fókusz Stúdió’s Téka program and Cérnagyár, each contributing a one-hour segment to the evening.

We couldn’t celebrate this magical number and huge milestone any other way than with a massive concert series, Dürer “all-star” bands, and that unparalleled energy you give us! Thank you for hanging out with us for nearly two decades: come join us and let’s raise a toast to the past eighteen years - and the next eighteen!

20 years of AWS - 20 years of metal - 20 years of friendship!

AWS will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026, and one of the special highlights will be an extraordinary meet-and-greet on August 1 at Dürer Kert.

The goal of the event is for the band to spend a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon with those who have accompanied them on this journey over the past two decades. The program is not just a fan event, but a shared celebration that offers the audience a chance to get to know AWS’s history, its members, and the path leading to their next major milestone more closely.

During the afternoon, band members will cook together with attendees, and there will be opportunities for conversation, group photos, autographs, and the purchase of official AWS merchandise.

In the evening, a special roundtable discussion will revisit the most important milestones, behind-the-scenes stories, and defining moments of AWS’s twenty-year history. The discussion will, of course, also touch on the band’s biggest concert to date - the upcoming Arena show.

Continents, cultures, and eras converge - from the roots to contemporary, hybrid dance music.

Cyborg Templar has been researching, collecting, and spinning music from around the world since the turn of the millennium. Since December 2022, his mix show “Conga Heaven, Bongo Hell!” has been airing on radiocafé and is also broadcast by Paris-based Radio RapTz, where continents, cultures, and eras converge - from the roots to contemporary, hybrid dance music. This 6-hour musical expedition gives us the chance to dance our way through the world’s many nooks and crannies.
